Fitness Instructor

Whether you want to start a career in the fitness industry or just have an interest in fitness and maybe want to supplement your income being an instructor, this is the course for you.  Taught  by our team of people who have been in the industry for 20 years, you will get the best quality education, stories and case studies by professionals who have ‘been there, done that’.  Additionally, you will gain work experience through our preferred Centres in Canberra/Queanbeyan which are currently Body Basics and Fernwood Fitness Canberra City.

Our classes are small so you will get individualised attention to ensure that you understand the principles needed to be successful in the field.

Our tuition may be more expensive than other training providers as we believe you get what you pay for AND we offer a money-back guarantee.  If you honestly believe and can demonstrate that the money you invested in the course was not ‘worth it’, we will return the tuition fees to you.

Sat 3  Mar, 9am – 5 pm: Anatomy and Physiology Review / Practical Test
Sun 4 Mar, 9am – 5 pm: Client Induction and Screening
Sat 17 Mar, 9am – 5 pm: Client Induction and Screening / Fitness Principles
Sun 18 Mar, 9am – 5 pm: Exercise Analysis / Gym Instruction and Programming 1
Sat 31 Mar, 9am – 5 pm: Gym Instruction and Programming 2
Sun 1 Apr, 9am – 5 pm: Group Exercise / Community Fitness
Sat 7 Apr, 9am – 5 pm: Basic Nutrition / Healthy Eating; Specific Populations
Sun 8 Apr, 9am – 5 pm: Instructing exercise to older adults
Sat 28 April; Final Practical Assessments
